Private Ski and Snowboard Lessons for Families in See
One parent is an advanced skier, the older daughter snowboards, and the younger daughter skis. Can they all benefit from the same private booking? With Patrick Zangerl in See, you can ask to divide the lesson time between family members in turn, arranging the plan with him in advance. Each person can then work on their own goals, even when their sports and ability levels differ.
One family, three people, two sports
Imagine a father who is a very advanced skier, his 25-year-old daughter who snowboards at an intermediate level, and his 10-year-old daughter who is an intermediate skier. All three would like to improve during their holiday in See. They tell Patrick what each person wants to practise and agree on the order of the lesson segments before the booking is confirmed.
Snowboarding:
The older daughter can focus on turns, control and a smoother riding style.
Skiing for the child:
The younger daughter can practise with exercises suited to her age and ability.
Advanced skiing:
The father can receive focused feedback on his technique and personal goals.
A longer booking, for example four hours, may allow time for these goals one after another. Patrick agrees with you beforehand how much time to allocate to each person, which slopes are suitable and where to hand over between segments. This is an example of a possible plan, not a fixed timetable.
Learn together or take turns?
When people take a lesson together at the same time, their ability, pace and goals should be reasonably similar. If they have different levels, or some ski while others snowboard, separate segments may work better. Patrick can focus on the person having the lesson at that moment. One instructor does not automatically supervise several separate groups at once.
If a child is taking part, agree in advance who will accompany them before and after their lesson segment. A private booking does not automatically include continuous supervision of every family member for the whole booking period.
How to request a family lesson
For each person, tell Patrick their age, sport, ability level and what they would like to improve. Include your preferred date and lesson length. Patrick will check availability, discuss whether the proposed plan is suitable and confirm the details personally.
Use the current private lesson prices as a starting point. The price list also shows the supplement for each additional person per booked lesson unit. Ask Patrick to confirm the total for your particular arrangement. You can also read about the private ski school in See, snowboard lessons and ski lessons.
Frequently asked questions
Can our family combine skiing and snowboarding in one private booking?
Yes, you can ask Patrick about a lesson divided into successive segments for your family. Tell him who is taking part, which sport each person does and what they want to work on. He will agree on a suitable plan with you.
Do we all need to be at the same ability level?
Similar abilities help when you want to learn together at the same time. When levels or goals differ considerably, separate segments within a private booking may be a better fit.
Who looks after the child while someone else has a lesson?
Please arrange supervision and handover for the child in advance. When Patrick is teaching someone else, childcare is not automatically included.
How much does a divided lesson cost?
The published prices show the base rate for one person and the supplement for each additional person per booked unit. Patrick will confirm the total price and lesson plan for your family when you enquire.
